What's In My Tummy
Yes, I know that sounds wrong. But in lieu of all the trending "What's In Your Purse" entries... I decided to tell you guys what I've been eating and what I like to eat instead of showing you the usual mess inside my bag/purse.
If you've noticed from my previous posts, I LOVE cupcakes, cookies, cakes and basically anything sweet. So, here are the things I like to eat:
Bizu's Macaron de Paris! |
Pistachio and Vanilla flavored Macarons |
These Macaroons taste like a piece of heaven! If they were't so darn pricey, I'd probably eat these every single day of my existence. The flavors are all oh so yummy! I only had the chance to taste 4 flavors so far and those are: Chocolate, Mint, Pistachio and Vanilla. But next time (when I have the extra cash) I shall try all the other flavors as well!
3 Cheese Burger by Big Better Burger |
Magnum Chocolate Truffle (I just love icecream!) |
Sizzling Sisig, Egg and Rice from Razon's |
Lasagna, Pizza and Fries from Greenwich |
Cookie Dough Chocolate Chip by Mrs. Fields! |
Caramel Apple Pie by Krispy Kreme! |
Super Sale Bazaar
March 3, 2012, my sisters Maple, Pam and I went to the World Trade Center Manila to attend (shop?) at the Super Sale Bazaar!
There were so many pretty clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, make-up and food! Have I mentioned that I love bazaars? If I haven't, well I'm saying it now. The prices were reasonable and most of the goodies they were selling were one-of-a-kind. I wish I had no budget limit... otherwise I could've bought the entire place!
Fashion bloggers, internet shops and hard to find stores were present at the event. The place was filled with pretty things that I kinda got dizzy. Oh and people were swarming all over! Especially since Sophie's Mom (they sell the greatest, and probably only, Red Velvet Cookies I have ever tasted! Also, Red Velvet Cupcakes and Mochi Ice Cream!) was located at the entrance of the place.
We had to pay Php100 for the entrance fee, but that's okay... Since you get a free hot pink reusable (not to mention eco-friendly) shopping bag! And everyone loves free goodies!
Nutella Mochi Balls |
Red Velvet Cookie |
Red Velvet Cupcake |
One of my favorite triolgy ever... in the form of lockets! |
Book lockets!!! Heaven. |
My purchases: a Deathly Hallows necklace, The Hunger Games locket, Hello Kitty specs |

It's A Boy!
That's Apple Juice that I'm drinking.. |
March 2, 2012, I attended the very 1st Baby Shower I was ever invited to. It's not because I don't have friends or anything like that... it just so happens that due to my consecutive 'school hopping', I get left behind every semester and keep on repeating being a 1st year college (I repeated 4 times! Not because I'm stupid or a failing student). So, my friends are mostly younger than me. Not one of them are pregnant yet or having a baby anytime soon...
But Gwada here has two kids already. She's sort of our 'Mama' in class. She's probably the coolest mom I know, aside from my own mom! She'll be having her 3rd child, which, as the title implies, is a boy!
It was such a nice and windy day. There were so many food and games were played. I thought baby showers were all serious and all about pregnancy and stuff... but boy, was I mistaken. This party was filled with laughter, games and food! Now I wish there will be more baby showers in the future... haha! Kidding. Studies first, kids! ;)

Trick Art Museum
Since Pachig graduated with a degree of 3D Animation from DLS-CSB, I thought to myself "Why not bring him somewhere with 3D arts?" and for a long time, I've been looking for such place. Then lo and behold, I stumbled upon a random blog that posted pictures and information about the so called Trick Art Museum which, as luck would have it, is located somewhere inside Manila Ocean Park. Again, these pictures were taken on January 26, 2012.

Don't be deceived: we don't drink. |
Of course, I had to fight with Darth Vader. :)) |
And so did he. |
Ferris Wheel by the Bay
Eye of MoA (as they call it) is this HUGE Ferris Wheel that they built by the San Miguel by the Bay walkway. Honestly, it looks dangerous since it's practically standing on unstable ground and Manila Bay is just under it... but for the sake of looking at the lights across the city, Pachig and I braved the heights and rode on one of the carts.
I'm not really scared of heights... but when you get to think of the fact that the only thing holding you up a hundred feet above the ground is a little cart bolted to a huge revolving thing... you'd get a bit weak on your knees too.
The view was worth the money you paid for the ride (150/person). However, since it was just Pachig and I and a single cart can accommodate up to 4 persons, we had to settle for sharing our cart with 2 strangers. Awkward of all awkward was the fact that those strangers was a couple. A very public display of affection(PDA) type of couple. I wanted to yell at them that they should have the decency to stop kissing each other's face off because they were sitting right across us and that they paid to see a view and not make out. But alas, I had to endure my 45-minute ride and pretend that they didn't exist.
P.S.: This was the evening of January 26, 2012. We came from Manila Ocean Park, thus, the same clothes I was wearing. It was an "adventure-packed" anniversary for us.

2 Years of Itlogie-ness
January 26, 2012, Pachig (a.k.a. Itlogie) and I celebrated our 2nd 'anniversary'. Being who we are and what we usually do on dates, we decided to celebrate it not with a fancy dinner but out and about on an (sort of) educational trip!
Since it opened, we've always wanted to go to Manila Ocean Park but haven't found the right time and occasion for it. So, come our anniversary, we went there to go see the pishes! Earlier that day, I had to accompany my younger sister and her friend to a college in Taft, Manila. They were going to submit their application forms and the such. So while waiting for them, I waited at the ever famous branch of McDonald's there in Taft and ate with Daddy.
My Cheeseburger (plain) meal! |
I had to wait for Pachig at Mall of Asia (MoA) because, as I've mentioned before, he has a tendency to be late. Anyway, as I was walking around what is considered to be the largest mall in Asia, I saw my most favorite word displayed on the window: SALE! So, I went ahead and bought myself some things from the London Boutique Accessorize.
We took a cab and went straight to Manila Ocean Park when Pachig arrived. It was a gloomy day but the humid was unbearable that I felt like I was sweating the entire day! Good thing I was wearing comfy clothes and not the dressy type... otherwise I could've fainted and ruined our date.
So basically, we did what all people do there... have fun! We saw all the pishes we could think of and someone (ahem!) had a crazy idea that he wants to be a Seal trainer like the ones we watched for the show. Goodluck with that is all I can say. Here are the photos!
